About Ethical SDA

Our story

Ethical SDA

Michael and Paula have always had a heart for helping those in need. Ethical SDA started with Michael’s first disability access business in 2007. In 2018 they purchased their first accommodation property in Narellan in South Western Sydney. The Narellan property was purchased with the intent of providing wheel chair accessible housing that was of high quality and close to town. As Michael delved into the intricacies of providing wheelchair accessible housing he soon discovered Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA), a part of the NDIS. There was a massive and growing need for SDA and after speaking with his brother Laurent they decided to team up and set up a family business.

Ethical SDA” was born. Michael, Paula, Laurent and Jessica form a dynamic and caring team with a strong focus on meeting the unmet needs of NDIS clients requiring quality, beautiful and functional homes.

Our engagement with the NDIS and supported independent living (SIL) providers has shown us that some of the biggest areas of need are in regional and rural areas. We aim to rise to this challenge, providing outstanding specialist disability accommodation so residents can live in a lovely home while remaining close to friends and family. At Ethical SDA we will always endeavour to go wherever we are needed to “Raise The Bar” in disability accommodation.

We understand requirements

With experience in SDA and specialising in High Physical Support we can work with you to make sure your needs are met.

We work precisely

All High Physical Support Accommodation is built to meet and exceed the 'Platinum' level of the Livable Housing Australia design guidelines.

We deliver best output

When we build a dwelling we consider the future occupants and make it the best home we can. We focus on resident preferences, proximity to town and where possible train transport.

Raising the bar in Specialist Disability Accommodation

Our expert team

Michael, Paula, Laurent and Jessica are a caring team with the perfect blend of professional, medical and construction backgrounds that make them the ideal SDA team. They take the NDIS guidelines seriously and see them as something to be exceeded rather than met.

NDIS recommends a separation between housing providers and support providers to allow SDA residents the option to choose both where they live and who cares for them. As such Ethical SDA has no contracts with any SIL (Supported Independent Living) providers and encourages residents to feel free to use whichever SIL best suits their needs.
